As you reach the end of our long, private driveway you will see the house, the sprawling garden and uninterrupted coastal views; there is nothing but National Trust land between us and the sea. A secret garden gate leads directly onto the coastal path towards Rockham Bay beach and Morte Point, where guests are often lucky enough to see seals basking on the rocks and playing in the waves. The space Our huge garden is an adventure waiting to be explored, with various different areas; the large manicured lawn, the hidden lookout spot with picnic bench, ‘the meadow’ where badgers can be seen at night, fruit trees which can be picked in the right season (apples and figs), the ‘wild woods’ where mature trees offer privacy from our neighbours, and the large patio for alfresco dining. We also have enough parking space for several cars. The only part of Bracken Corner not available to guests is the garage, but the big room above is open, with comfy sofa, tv and Blu-ray, full-size table football, and a desk area. This games room has huge windows overlooking the garden and coastal landscape, and is a fantastic bonus space, separate from the main house. The house itself has been recently renovated to an extremely high standard. A wide hallway leads into a huge open plan kitchen, dining room, and living area – all paved with beautiful limestone flooring. Almost all windows in the house command uninterrupted views of National Trust landscape and blue sea. Upstairs the house offers three bedrooms. The master with superking bed, and luxury en-suite bathroom provide breathtaking views from both the bed and roll top bath! The second bedroom has a double bed and sea views. The third bedroom, which is separated from the second by a large family bathroom, features two single beds. Guest access The whole house and garden are available to guests. Inside the house is a locked cupboard where housekeeping products are stored. Outside there is a large garage which is not available to guests, but the games room above is available.
